Before Five in a Row

What it is

The preschool volume that comes before the Five in a Row curriculum, written for children aged 2 to 4. Part One holds activities built around 24 classic picture books, among them The Runaway Bunny, Corduroy, and The Snowy Day; Part Two collects ideas for learning in everyday moments such as bath time, the kitchen, and the grocery store. The volume includes Animal Classification Cards, Story Disks, and a Storybook Map, and the publisher describes it as parent-directed learning in a few moments each day; laminated color Story Disks are sold separately.
