Brave Writer (Julie Bogart)
A relaxed, relationship-centered approach to writing, including its Poetry Teatime idea.
A writing program founded by Julie Bogart and organized by stages of writing growth rather than grade, with products such as Jot It Down (ages 5-7), Partnership Writing (8-10), The Arrow and The Boomerang (literature-based copywork and dictation), and The Writer's Jungle for parents. The parent and child work on writing projects together, and the company also runs short online writing classes for students. The publisher says its online classes fit alongside Charlotte Mason, classical, and unschooling approaches.
Written by the Homebuilt team from the publisher’s own materials, checked September 2026. Prices and editions change, so confirm with the publisher.
