What it is

A science curriculum written by Paige Hudson that follows the classical model, with Grammar Stage (grades 1-4) and Logic Stage (grades 5-8) programs in biology, earth science and astronomy, chemistry, and physics. Each week combines an experiment or demonstration, readings from children's science encyclopedias, and notebooking in a student workbook. The company also sells the story-based Sassafras Science series and short Science Chunks unit studies; its help desk describes the materials as neither Christian nor secular.
