Excelsior Classes

What it is

Live online classes for grades 5 through 12, taught by teachers who meet students at a set day and time and give feedback on their work, with self-paced courses, independent studies, and dual credit courses offered alongside. The publisher says its courses are couched in a Christian worldview and that all teachers sign a statement of faith affirming the Apostles' and Nicene Creeds, while students and parents are not asked to and anyone may take a course. It states that it is accredited as a private school by the Accrediting Commission for Schools, Western Association of Schools and Colleges, and that its core courses are NCAA approved.
