Prima Latina

What it is

Memoria Press's first Latin course for the primary grades, with 25 lessons and 5 review lessons; each lesson adds five vocabulary words with their English derivatives along with a Latin saying, a grammar point suited to young children, and a line of a prayer. The complete set holds a student workbook, a teacher manual, about nine hours of streaming instructional video at 15 to 20 minutes a lesson, streaming pronunciation audio, and digital flashcards for the publisher's app. The audio includes four prayers and songs drawn from the publisher's Lingua Angelica, and the course leads into Latina Christiana.

Written by the Homebuilt team from the publisher’s own materials, checked September 2026. Prices and editions change, so confirm with the publisher. Learn more: Prima Latina product page · Memoria Press Latin curriculum timeline
