Stride K12 (public online schools and K12 Private Academy)

What it is

K12 runs tuition-free online public schools in many states and a separate tuition-based online private school, K12 Private Academy, which is accredited by Cognia. Students combine scheduled live classes with certified teachers and self-paced work, and a parent or other responsible adult serves as a learning coach. K12 lists its online public schools separately from its homeschool program.
