What it is

A Catholic literature course by Roxanna Hebson in which each level takes a student through five books over a year with vocabulary, comprehension questions, literary analysis, character and virtue study, discussion questions, and hands-on projects. Level 1 covers Little House in the Big Woods, The Father Brown Reader, Minn of the Mississippi, The Winged Watchman, and The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe; Level 3 covers The Door in the Wall, The Phantom Tollbooth, The Endless Steppe, Treasure Island, and The Hobbit. The early levels come as a guidebook plus a student notebook, while Level 3 is a single worktext with a removable answer key and a parent discussion guide.
