Helping parents rethink education — and trust themselves enough to lead it.
Few voices in home education have led both a school and a homeschool. Mandy has, and that perspective changes the conversation.

Mandy Davis, M.Ed., has spent two decades in education — as a teacher in public, private, and international classrooms, as a school principal and instructional designer, and now as a homeschooling mother of three. She is the author of four books, including The Homeschool Bible™ and The Modern Homeschool Mom, and has been featured on Fox & Friends, NTD News, in the New York Post and The Epoch Times. Her work is built around one conviction, formed on both sides of the desk: every child can learn, and every parent can homeschool.

What changes for the room
The Modern Homeschool Mom: Building an Education Without Losing Yourself
A keynote about the invisible pressure modern homeschool mothers carry — to educate well, create a meaningful childhood, manage the home, keep up with everyone else, and somehow remain a whole person. Mandy challenges the idea that a good homeschool requires a mother to be endlessly available, endlessly productive, or endlessly certain. Parents leave with a healthier framework for a homeschool that serves the whole family — including the person leading it.
Overwhelmed, Not Behind
Most parents who fear their child is behind are watching a child who is overwhelmed. Mandy separates the two, and shows how a home can lower the temperature without lowering the bar. Parents leave with three questions to ask before they conclude anything is wrong.
When the Child Isn’t the Problem
Underneath most referrals, labels, and interventions sits a question nobody asks: is this child struggling, or simply not built for the setting? Mandy shares the framework she developed as a principal for telling the difference. Parents leave with a self-assessment and a great deal less guilt.
A Curriculum Should Never Run Your Homeschool
The first-year curriculum hunt is where most families burn out. Mandy shows how to build a rhythm the curriculum answers to rather than the reverse — how to evaluate a program honestly, adapt it, or abandon it. Parents leave with permission, and a method for using it.
The Homeschool You’re Picturing Doesn’t Exist Anymore
The homeschool most parents imagine is the one they heard about twenty years ago. Mandy maps what has genuinely changed — who is doing it now, what a week actually looks like, the co-ops, hybrids, and outsourcing available today. Parents leave able to describe a version of home education that would fit their family.
I Didn’t Leave Education. I Reclaimed It.
Mandy’s own story, told as a case for the parent in the room. What she saw as a principal that changed her mind, and why “I’m not qualified” is the most common and least true objection in home education. Parents leave with the question she had to answer herself: what am I actually waiting for?
